Today we remember those who have served our country. Typically we remember those who served our country in the military. Under the pandemic, I think it's worth remembering those who have died of COVID-19. Also It's worth remembering those who serve us on the front lines of this pandemic, whether they be physical medical workers, mental health workers, grocery store workers, paramedics, pharmacists, janitorial workers especially in hospitals and medical settings, etc. I salute all of you.
Perhaps the people we remember and their shining examples of service can inspire us to serve our communities. There is so much we can do for one another during this pandemic.
