Have you ever had a day where you just didn't feel like it? You know, you woke up in the morning, and you may even have a whole bunch of things to do, but you just don't feel like doing anything. Have you had a day like that?
The thing is that during this pandemic and if you are sheltering-in-place, you may have a prime opportunity to actually do nothing all day. Having those kind of days is something that actually is necessary from time to time. It's ok, if you feel like it, do nothing.
Now, if you are feeling like this every day, you start feeling down, your energy goes lower, and the things you need to do keep stacking up because you just can't face them, you may be developing some depression. In that case, it would be important to find someone to talk to about it. Try talking to a friend or a spiritual leader like a priest, rabbi, or pastor. If that doesn't help or if none of those people are available to you, try contacting a therapist. Otherwise, I highly encourage you to do nothing for a day on those rare days where you just don't feel like doing anything. You just may need a break.
